You know, I sit around and I see a lot of things that just makes me say hmmmmm,
One of those things would be that people are afraid to do what is necessary for them. Why? Because they either want someone else to do it or they are afraid to do it themselves.
I used to be that shy country girl on the block who was afraid of making the decisions because I thought that people would be judgmental. Because they were. I used to be that shy country girl who cared about what people thought based off of my decisions. But they didn’t. They were just opinionated. But, that doesn’t matter. What I came to realize is that I am the person who has to live with my decisions whether they are good bad and or indifferent. Luckily for me, I only make good decisions because I love me.
Here are some things that I apply to my life when I get in the groove of making decisions.
Examine Scripture Isaiah 58:11 (And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy they soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and though shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.) This scripture tells me that God will ALWAYS lead me in the right direction and that I am never alone. If the choices that I am making aren’t meant, then it is simply not happening.
Meditation: I constantly take out the time to clear my mind when I have difficult decision to make. I do this because a person with a cloudy mind will always make hasty decision that would lead to negative outcomes.
Think about the benefits of my children. I have to always place the well being of my children before mine. When I make choices the outcome doesn’t only effect me. It effects my children.
